The Science of Sound Instruments to Build | Hearing Safety | Science Projects | Acoustic Levitation
We learned about sound vibrations. We made water jump out of a cup from a vibrating tuning fork, felt vibrations with our fingers on our throat, and experimented with rubber bands on a box. We listened to vibrations travel through a slinky and analyzed whether sound travels better through air or solids. We made a straw kazoo, watched science videos, and built a Sound Sandwich. To show what we learned, we built instruments that vibrate with sound! more VIDEOS and EXPERIMENTS
Sound waves can make an object float! Sound is a powerful form of energy.
